Timber / Natural Characteristics – Timber is a natural product and will contain variations in colour, grain, and texture. Knots, splits, and surface cracking are all natural characteristics and are not considered defects. As timber dries, it may develop splits or cracks. This is normal and does not affect the structural integrity of the product
Movement Of Timber – Timber is affected by weather conditions and will expand, contract, twist, bow or warp depending on moisture levels and temperature changes. This movement is a natural property of timber and is outside of our control. We do not guarantee that timber components will remain perfectly straight or free from movement after installation.
Pressure Treated Timber – All timber supplied is pressure-treated for durability. Treatment colour may vary and can fade over time. We recommend allowing the timber to dry before applying any paint or stain.
Ground Conditions – All work is quoted based on normal ground conditions. Hidden obstacles such as concrete, large roots, services [water, gas, electric, drainage], or excessive rubble may incur additional charges if encountered.
Access And Site Preparation – The customer is responsible for ensuring reasonable access to work area. This includes clearing obstructions such as plants, garden items, or debris unless agreed otherwise. We are not responsible for damage to hidden items such as irrigation systems, cables or pipes that have not been disclosed prior to work commencing.
Fence Lines And Boundaries – It is the customers responsibility to confirm boundary lines before installation. We will not be held liable for disputes arising from boundary placement.
Waste Removal – All waste generated from our work will be removed from site unless otherwise agreed. We are not responsible for disposing of unrelated waste.
Damage And Liability – While care is taken during all work, we cannot be held responsable for minor damage to surounding areas such as lawns, flowerbeds, or driveways where access is restricted or ground conditions are soft.
Weather Delays – Work may be delayed due to adverse weather conditions. We will always aim to reschedule as soon as possible.
Guarantees – We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 12 months. This does not cover natural movement of the timber, weather-related changes, or damage caused by external factors.
